Full job description

City Year seeks an Academic Tutor and Mentor to support student success in partner public schools. In this role, you will provide individualized and small-group tutoring in core subjects, help students build academic and social-emotional skills, and track progress toward learning goals. Working within the Education, Training & E-Learning team, you’ll collaborate with teachers and diverse AmeriCorps teammates to implement classroom support, lead homework help and enrichment, and encourage consistent attendance and engagement.
