Full job description

The Terraces of Boise in Boise, ID, a HumanGood community nationally rated as 2025-2026 Best Senior Living community for Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care by U.S News & World Report, is looking for talented Wait Staff to join our team! Our wait staff team members perform all duties associated with setting up and working on a trayline, serving food to residents, washing dishes and/or pots and pans, bussing dishes, prepping food, such as salads, desserts, garnishes and/or maintaining cleanliness of food and dining room areas.

Wage range: $16-$18/hr depending on experience
Full Time Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7am-4pm (occasional w/ends).

Work Duties

  • Greets residents and guests promptly as they arrive
  • Informs guests of daily specials, makes recommendations;
  • Completes bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed or assigned;
  • Refills beverages throughout the meal service
  • Keeps alert to resident requests and special needs; assists residents with plates or trays;

To be successful in the role, you would have:

  • Prior customer service experience
  • Prior food service, fast food or restaurant experience
  • Prior experience working with seniors (preferred)
  • Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification (preferred)
  • Availability that might include weekends, & holidays
