Trusted is seeking an experienced allied health professional for this exciting travel assignment. Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Adult transthoracic experience and experience using contrast agent and bubble echo.

Required Credentials: HS diploma or GED. Successfully completed one vascular or echo registry (adult, pediatric, fetal) pertinent to the department, beyond physics.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Transesophageal echocardiogram and pediatric experience are a plus.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.

Unit Details: Primarily focused on inpatient care. Prioritizes and schedules exams and coordinates exams with medical staff, physician offices, other staff, and patients. Prepares for the exam by following patient identification processes, educating the patient and family on the procedure, and transporting the patient. Performs ultrasound exams consistent with related protocols in a timely manner, appropriately uses equipment, ensures patient safety and comfort, and achieves quality outcomes. After the exam, returns the patient to the room and ensures patient stability and safety. Identifies patient needs and communicates and coordinates patient care with physicians, other staff, the patient, and family throughout the process. Documents exam results and other needed information and accurately charges for exams and supplies. Cleans and maintains equipment and the work area, stocks supplies, and follows appropriate channels to coordinate repair or supply needs. Provides education for other staff members, fellows, and students as appropriate.

Shift & Scheduling: Variable schedule, including weekends and weekdays.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, RVT, RVS, RCIS, RCES
