Door Attendant

JOB TITLE:  Door Attendant                

DIVISION: Food and Beverage

REPORTS TO:  Bar Manager                         

LOCATION: Thirsty Squirrel

CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time/ Full-Time/ Hourly/ Seasonal

POSITION: 

We are looking for a competent door security to look after the premises and protect staff and guests. The door security position is essential for making our guests and customers feel welcomed and want to stay for a great experience. This employee will oversee greeting patrons, uphold laws required to enter (making sure people are of the correct age to legally enter the bar).

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must be 21 years or older
• Knowledge of ID Scanner
• Knowledge of which ID’s are acceptable
• Must have or be willing to obtain Sips & Tips certificate
• Ability to control crowds
• Willing to work flexible schedules that may include weekends and holidays

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greeting Guests
• Operating scanner
• Checking IDs to ensure all guests are 21 years old
• Maintain service standards by welcoming guests
• Provide assistance to people in need
