Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of professional level of nursing duties for patients served in the clinical areas noted below.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required
    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
    • Completion of an accredited nursing program
  • Preferred
    • Associate’s degree in Nursing
    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Experience:

  • Preferred
    • Two or more years of experience in Nursing

Certification/Licensure:

  • Required
    • Registered Nurse (RN), with authorization to practice in the State of Texas
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
      • Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date
    • Completion of clinical observation checklist in AccuCath, Midline, Peripheral, and PICC placement
      • Must obtain within one (1) year of start date
    • Completion of clinical observation checklist in PICC placement
      • Must obtain within one (1) year of start date
