Full job description
Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a loving and attentive Lead Infant Teacher to join our team. Our infant program provides a safe, nurturing environment where the youngest learners can explore, grow, and reach important developmental milestones — all while feeling secure and supported.
As an Lead Infant Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Provide a warm, responsive, and engaging classroom experience that supports each child’s individual needs.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families through daily communication and care updates.
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where infants can develop curiosity, confidence, and early learning skills.
- Collaborate with your teaching team to maintain consistent routines, meet licensing standards, and uphold our school’s commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
- CDA or 60 credits with at least 6 credits in ECE or degree in Early Childhood Education required.
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare center preferred.
- A nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies.
- Authorization to work in the United States

Signing Bonus: This position is eligible for a signing bonus totaling $1,500 paid in installments as follows: $1,000 after 90 days of employment and $500 after 6 months of employment. All bonus payments are subject to standard tax withholdings.
