Work Environment

As a PTA at our clinic, you will work onsite in a hospital setting, where you will engage with patients directly and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans created by the supervising physical therapist to enhance mobility and functional independence.
• Engage patients in therapeutic exercises and therapeutic activities that promote physical wellness, such as stretching, strengthening, and balance activities.
• Document patient progress thoroughly, noting any changes in condition or response to treatment, and communicate this information effectively to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, industry regulations, and state laws governing physical therapy practices.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to discuss ongoing progress and therapy objectives.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits
