Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage patients in therapeutic exercises and therapeutic activities that promote physical wellness, such as stretching, strengthening, and balance activities.
  • Document patient progress thoroughly, noting any changes in condition or response to treatment, and communicate this information effectively to the supervising therapist.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, industry regulations, and state laws governing physical therapy practices.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to discuss ongoing progress and therapy objectives.
