Alternative Education Special Education Teacher

Ombudsman Educational Services, a ChanceLight Education brand, seeks a Special Education Teacher to support middle and high school students in an alternative education setting. You will design and deliver individualized, standards-based instruction, implement IEPs, and provide accommodations and modifications for students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities include managing behavior using positive supports, tracking academic and behavioral progress, collaborating with district partners and families, and maintaining compliance with IDEA and state regulations. You’ll work in a small, structured classroom focused on safety, relationships, and student success.
