Join our stable, physician owned practice staffing 6 Emergency Departments in Northern Colorado. The locations offer diverse acuity from Level I to III trauma centers and freestanding emergency departments, allowing for varying patient care opportunities.

Physician Assistants work 8 hour shifts alongside board certified emergency medicine physicians in a collaborative atmosphere. EPR Physician Assistants are responsible for the spectrum of evaluation and management of emergency department patients. Duties include history taking, physical examination, ordering and interpreting diagnostic and therapeutic studies, ordering medications, developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring response and effectiveness of interventions, and making appropriate referrals as needed. PAs perform therapeutic procedures and are responsible for appropriate and effective communication with ED physicians, emergency department staff, ancillary staff, consulting physicians, patients, and their family members.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required
- DEA licensure required
- Emergency department experience (1-2 years) strongly preferred
- Current knowledge of medical practices, procedures, and equipment preferred
- Strong interest in Emergency Medicine
