Maintenance Technician

Smurfit WestRock seeks a Maintenance Technician to support our high-volume manufacturing operations. In this on-site role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain packaging and converting equipment to maximize safety, uptime, and product quality. Responsibilities include mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs, basic electrical support, and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance using a CMMS. You will read blueprints and manuals, support changeovers and installations, and strictly follow safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Working in a performance-driven, sustainability-focused culture, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement, reliability initiatives, and long-term equipment health while collaborating with production and engineering teams.
