<p>Volt is immediately hiring for a <b>2nd shift Forklift Operator </b>for a company located in Riverside, CA.</p> <p> </p> <p>As a <b>2nd shift Forklift Driver,</b> you will:</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Job Description</b></p> <ul> <li><b>Day to Day Responsibilities</b></li> <li>Operates Raymond or Crown Cherry forklift / Order Picker in and around warehouse</li> <li>Pulls product from the warehouse for shipment to the stores and DC’s</li> <li>Moves product from Inbound Bins into the racks according product type and dimension</li> <li>Relocates product from end caps and service area into racks</li> <li>Efficiently pick customer orders</li> <li>Ensures inbound product and transfers received are stored in designated rack areas</li> <li>Responsible for scanning merchandise prior to moving it to a different location</li> <li>Positions product on racking system</li> <li>Carry or transports orders to the dock with material handling equipment</li> <li>Able to operate radio frequency equipment</li> <li>Conducts operations in compliance with OSHA standards</li> <li>Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety</li> <li>Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled</li> <li>Inspects the equipment</li> <li>Maintains a clean free from debris warehouse floor</li> <li>Meet company standards for productivity</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>The ideal candidate will have:</b></p> <ul> <li><b>Required Skills & Qualifications</b> <ul> <li>Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered.</li> <li>1-2 years of experience operating a Cherry Picker Forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.</li> <li>Proven experience with order picking and inventory selection processes.</li> <li>Ability to safely operate a Cherry Picker and other material handling equipment.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.</li> <li>Ability to follow instructions and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.</li> <li>Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic.</li> <li>Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume warehouse setting.</li> <li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li><b>Preferred Skills & Qualifications</b> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</li> <li>Previous experience working in a furniture warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Experience handling bulky, oversized, or high-value furniture products.</li> <li>Familiarity with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems.</li> <li>Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.</li> <li>Experience operating additional material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, or electric pallet jacks.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><b>Schedule: </b>3:00 PM to 11:00 PM</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Days</b>: Friday - Tuesday with Wednesday and Thursday off.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Pay Rate</b>: $23.00 per hour</p> <p> </p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. </p> <p>Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
