Special Ed. Teacher

Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Boulder, CO, earning up to $58 per hour. The role focuses on supporting students with diverse needs and implementing individualized education plans. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits to impact student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to support students with diverse special needs

• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching strategies

• Manage classroom environments fostering positive behavior and student engagement

• Support peer mentors, paraeducators, and collaborate with BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and Psych/SW teams

• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Special Education, or related field

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in progress or current

• Minimum 1 year of classroom experience in a school setting

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

• Ability to support students with diverse needs

• Background check and compliance with facility policies
