About the Facility
  • Level IV Trauma Center
  • 18-bed emergency department with approximately 22,000 annual visits
  • Physicians see approximately 1.7 patients per hour with an 11% admission rate
  • Supported by 26 hours of daily physician coverage and 20 hours of APC coverage
  • EMR: MediTech
  • Robust specialty backup including anesthesiology, cardiology, ENT, gynecology, hematology/oncology, internal medicine, interventional radiology, and more

Leadership Opportunity
  • Assistant facility medical director role with dedicated administrative responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the facility medical director to support departmental operations, physician engagement, quality initiatives, patient experience, and overall emergency department performance
  • Help mentor physicians and APCs while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered culture
  • Opportunity to develop leadership skills within one of the nation's leading emergency medicine organizations

  • W2 employed position
  • Base rate + RVU compensation model

Candidate Requirements
  • ABEM board certified
  • Minimum of two years of post-residency EM experience preferred
  • Prior leadership experience preferred but not required
  • Active clinical practice within the last 12 months
  • ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (expired certifications accepted)
