E-Bus Field Service Mechanic

Looking for a motivated E-Bus Field Service Mechanic in the Fairfax, VA area!

This position is a Field Service Mechanic for a transit bus manufacturer that requires strong electrical skills as well as excellent customer service skills as you will be dealing with the customer.

Job Details:

• R equires travel to various customer work sites in the Fairfax, VA area.
• Ideal experience is to have worked on any of the following: buses, trains, autos, trucks, military vehicles, aircraft, agricultural or industrial equipment.
• Must be able to interpret and make decisions on what problems need to be fixed.
• There are three classifications of work: Acceptance, Retrofit and/or Warranty.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with High Voltage electrical systems
• General knowledge of bus, aviation, automotive and/or vehicle systems.
• Hands-on experience in either electrical, mechanical, or other related field service experience; experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

NOTE: A company vehicle will NOT be provided, this job requires you to use your own vehicle. Also, a laptop computer or iPad and basic tools are required for this job.

Job Location: Fairfax, VA *Open to travel

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.*with possible overtime

Pay Rate: $30 - $35 an hour

(Pay is commensurate with skills & experience)
