Critical Care Intensivist - Paducah, Kentucky - recruiting incentives up to $200,000

The Critical Care trained physician will practice in a hospital based Intensive Care Unit, providing comprehensive care for critically ill patients, performing required critical care procedures, and collaborating closely with nursing staff, advanced practice clinicians, and consulting medical and surgical specialties to support high quality, multidisciplinary patient care.

The Intensive Care Practice at Baptist Health Paducah provides continuous coverage for a 24 bed Intensive Care Unit. The practice is staffed by physicians and advanced practice clinicians who work 12-hour shifts on a 7 days on/7 days off rotation to ensure consistent coverage and continuity of care. In addition to their scheduled clinical shifts, the physician provides a 12-hour night call following their shift, supporting around the clock intensivist availability for the ICU and aligning the program with system?wide clinical and operational objectives.

The ideal candidate is a board certified, critical care trained physician who is committed to delivering high quality care to a complex population of critically ill patients. This physician will value collaboration and teamwork, seeking to join a strong, established interdisciplinary team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians. The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and motivated to contribute to a stable, high-performing ICU practice within an integrated health system.
