Wonderful College Prep Academy (WCPA) is a free, public charter network in California’s Central Valley committed to providing a world-class education for all students. Founded in 2009 by Lynda and Stewart Resnick, co-owners of The Wonderful Company, WCPA offers two free state-of-the-art TK–12 public charter schools serving 2,400 students in Lost Hills and Delano, California.

    The Business & Operations Support Assistant completes day-to-day tasks assigned by the Director of Business & Operations.

    Essential Job Functions: 

    • Manage student uniform sales, including processing purchases, collecting payments, and providing exceptional customer service to students and families.
    • Maintain accurate uniform inventory, including receiving, stocking, restocking, reordering, and conducting inventory counts and reconciliations.
    • Assist with Accounts Payable as needed, including scanning, reviewing, coding, entering, and processing invoices; gathering supporting documentation, purchase orders.
    • Process incoming and outgoing mail and assist with general office duties such as filing, scanning, copying, and data entry.
    • Provide operational support for school events as needed, including tracking event details and assisting with related administrative tasks.
    • Perform other related duties and provide additional administrative and operational support as assigned.

    Work Schedule 

    Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

    This position is scheduled to work on an as-needed basis in accordance with the school calendar.

    The regular schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7 hours per day. Work hours may vary based on business and operational needs, and additional hours may be required as necessary.

    Temporary assignment: 09/01/26-01/29/26

    Pay: $19.00/Hour. 


    • Minimum of 1 year of office aid experience
    • Clearance of FBI/DOJ
    • TB clearance 
    • Mandated reporter certificate
    • Experience in working with a diverse student population. 
    • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English 

    Skills, Knowledge:

    • Excellent written and oral communication skill
    •  Knowledge and cultural competence of the local student and parent community 
    • Highly developed interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy 
    • Effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects 
    • Comfort in a start-up environment and ability to work independently with minimal direction 
    • Ability to use a variety of software programs and quickly learn new ones 

    Working Conditions:

    •  Environment: Office environment; fast-paced work, constant interruptions. 
    • Physical requirements: Hearing and speaking to exchange information, make presentations and communicate over the telephone; seeing to read, prepare, and proofread documents and view computer monitors; sitting or standing for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment; kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, to retrieve and store files and supplies; lifting light objects; ability to go to sites apart from primary office to conduct business.
