Full job description
CAM Manufacturing Engineer, Aerospace CNC Programming
Spartanburg, SC | Full-Time | $80,000 to $95,000 per year
Program the multi-axis CNC machines and lights-out automation behind precision aerospace and defense parts.
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 1+ years of CAM or CNC programming experience
- Mastercam proficiency
- Multi-axis CNC machining experience
- Renishaw or Blum probing experience
- Knowledge of Siemens, Mazatrol, or FANUC controls and programming
- Tooling design experience
- Strong grasp of CAM principles and high attention to detail
- Ability to manage timelines and meet commitments
What You'll Do
- Turn CAD models and drawings into efficient CNC toolpaths and G-code for multi-axis machining
- Select cutting tools, speeds, and feeds by material and requirement
- Simulate and verify toolpaths to catch collisions and errors before cutting metal
- Build and maintain equipment Digital Twins
- Use Renishaw probing for setups and pass/fail verification
- Drive lights-out manufacturing and automation initiatives
- Design workholding and tooling solutions with the engineering team
- Support operators on program rollout and updates
- Own the quality and accuracy of every CAM program you release

- VERICUT experience
- SolidWorks proficiency
Compensation and Benefits
- $80,000 to $95,000 base salary
- Hands-on exposure to Digital Twin, probing, and automation technology
- Full ownership of CAM programming from design through production
