This 36-week contract Special Education Teacher position in Maricopa, AZ offers competitive pay up to $57 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. The role focuses on developing individualized education plans, managing classroom behavior, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.

  • Manage classroom behavior to foster a safe and productive learning environment.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student success.

  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or equivalent certification/license.

  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education with active licensure.

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Special Education Teacher, with skills in IEPs, behavior management, and inclusive classroom strategies.

  • Ability to pass background checks.
