Special Education Teacher *Up to $57/hr

This 36-week contract Special Education Teacher position in Maricopa, AZ offers competitive pay up to $57 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.

• Manage classroom behavior to foster a safe and productive learning environment.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student success.

• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or equivalent certification/license.

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education with active licensure.

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Special Education Teacher, with skills in IEPs, behavior management, and inclusive classroom strategies.

• Ability to pass background checks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Adaptability and ability to work days in a school setting.

• Ability to handle physical demands of classroom management and support student needs.
