The Complete Balance Physical Therapy Group is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our vibrant orthopedic outpatient clinic located in Cupertino, California. This full-time position is based onsite in our busy hospital-affiliated outpatient clinic. The clinic operates during weekdays, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for work-life balance while serving a varied patient demographic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, providing crucial support as they develop strength, flexibility, and endurance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized therapy area, ensuring that all necessary equipment is properly sanitized and readily available.
  • Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT.
  • Coordinate scheduling, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications to enhance the patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population recovering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, injury recovery, chronic pain management, and preventative care. Your role as a PTA is instrumental in helping patients regain mobility, manage pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals, fostering their independence and enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in California.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
  • Strong understanding of EMR systems; experience with WebPT is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with manual therapy techniques and modalities utilized in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercise programs and patient education strategies to empower individuals in their recovery journey.
  • Proficiency in conducting initial assessments and modifying treatment plans under the supervision of a physical therapist.
  • Background in orthopedic specialties that include sports injuries, joint replacements, and pediatric conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
