Full job description
Clean Harbors Woburn, MA is looking for a Utility Driver/Driver Lead to join their team! The Utility Driver supports our operations through safe and efficient transportation of materials and equipment. The successful candidate must have a valid CDL Class B license with the required endorsements and be comfortable operating a 10-speed manual transmission. This position will require local and regional travel throughout the Northeast, including occasional overnight stays.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Transport materials, equipment, and other items to various locations throughout the Northeast.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
- Maintain accurate vehicle, mileage, delivery, and required regulatory records.
- Follow all hazardous-material handling and transportation requirements.
- Provide professional and courteous service at customer and job-site locations.
- Travel as needed, including overnight trips within the Northeast.
- Perform other utility and operational duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
What does it take to work for Company Name?
- Class B CDL required.
- Air Brakes endorsement with no restrictions.
- Hazmat (H) endorsement.
- Tank Vehicle (N) endorsement.
- Demonstrated ability to drive a 10-speed manual transmission.
- Ability to train and mentor on job responsibilities.
- Previous route service driving experience preferred.
- Safe driving record and commitment to following all applicable DOT and company safety requirements.
- Ability to travel throughout the Northeast and stay overnight as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with loading, unloading, and transporting materials, and be comfortable working at heights with the appropriate PPE.
