Full job description

Urgent Care MD

Location : Georgia

Order ID :

Start : Ongoing

Schedule : 6 to 8 shifts per month. 8 or 12 hour shifts. Typical shift options include 8:00a to 5:00p or 8:00a to 8:00p.

Openings : 1

Travel and Lodging : Travel and lodging provided

Position Overview

Practice setting: Urgent Care

Typical cases: General urgent care including testing, x rays, sutures, 12 lead EKG reads, and physicals

Patient volume: Up to 4 patients per hour

Ages: 2 plus and must see pediatrics

EMR: Experity (Velocidoc)

Support staff: MAs, with some sites also having RNs and or LPNs

Solo coverage expected

Required Qualifications

Family Practice or Internal Medicine

Urgent care experience required

Board certification

DEA

NPDB self query

Clean background as required by the client

Credentialing and Onboarding

Estimated onboarding and credentialing timeline: 1 week plus an in person shadow date
