Full job description
We are seeking a Lab Informatics Engineer with 3–8 years of experience in software engineering, application development, systems integration, or laboratory informatics. The ideal candidate will have strong programming and SQL skills and experience developing automation, data-processing solutions, and system integrations for laboratory or enterprise environments.
Must-Have Technical Skills
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, application development, systems integration, or laboratory informatics.
- Strong programming experience with Python, Java, C#, or similar programming languages.
- Experience developing scripts, automation solutions, data-processing applications, and system integrations.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying, data analysis, reporting, troubleshooting, validation, and data integration.
- Experience with application integration and technical troubleshooting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test, and support software solutions for R&D and Supply Chain laboratory environments.
- Develop applications, scripts, automation utilities, data-processing solutions, and system integrations using Python, Java, C#, or comparable technologies.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for data analysis, reporting, validation, and application integration.
- Configure laboratory applications and implement enhancements based on approved requirements and controlled change procedures.
- Support integration between laboratory informatics applications, databases, laboratory instruments, data platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Contribute to Computer System Validation (CSV) activities, including risk assessments, testing, documentation, and implementation controls.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support application and system integration activities.
- Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to support project milestones, issue resolution, and operational continuity.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, iterative planning, delivery, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
