Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Marketing the Marketing Coordinator will assist with marketing initiatives that strengthens Maschio's Food Services commitment in serving K-12 schools and students through innovate solutions. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day marketing activities, with a strong focus on social media, event coordination, campaign support, communications, and marketing administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:

• Administrative & Marketing Support
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director of Marketing and marketing team.
  • Assist with purchase orders, promotional item inventory, and other department-related administrative tasks.
  • Assist with proofreading and quality control of marketing materials and communications.
• Campaign Support
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, assets, approvals, and distribution.
  • Help gather information, photos, testimonials, and other content to support marketing initiatives.
  • Support email marketing, promotional materials, digital campaigns, and internal communications as needed.
• Event Coordination Support
  • Coordinate event materials, signage, promotional items, giveaways, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
  • Assist with event logistics, vendor communication, shipping, setup, and post-event follow-up.
• Social Media
  • Assist with planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing content across company social media channels.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across platforms.
  • Identify relevant trends, content opportunities, and stories from schools, students, staff, and company initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with marketing, email, project management, or design platforms is a plus.
• Ability to travel to school districts when needed.

Preferred:

• Basic experience with graphic design or content creation programs.
• Experience with group presentations.

Essential Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to sit or stand in a stationary position.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 40lbs as needed to move objects.
• Work is performed in both office and school cafeteria environments.
• This is a part-time position, typically scheduled Monday through Friday, with hours aligned to the needs of the business.
