Full job description

Kodru-Mooney, a UFT company is a leading provider of valves, gates, and actuation solutions, serving clients with expertise and integrity since 2009. We offer a comprehensive range of services to support our clients, including: operation and maintenance seminars, equipment inspections, general consultations, repairs and installations, service contracts.

We are looking for an Inside Sales professional to support our outside sales team and help drive capital and aftermarket projects. This role will work closely with sales and customers to review specifications, prepare accurate quotes, identify the right products for each application, and coordinate product submittals.

What you'll do:

  • Provide inside/office sales support for outside salesperson(s) within the organization and effectively support capital and aftermarket project efforts.
  • Review project and product specifications to generate timely and accurate quotations.
  • Assist the team by asking questions and understanding what products are appropriate for what applications.
  • Compile, sort, and markup various manufacturer’s product data/submittals in Adobe Acrobat for approval by consulting engineer.
  • Learn from sales teams to understand customer and market dynamics to deliver superior results.
  • Build trust with customers by providing honest and accurate information regardless of circumstances.

What you bring:

  • Positive, professional, and self-motivated with strong communication and time-management skills.
  • Naturally curious and detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in understanding products and customer needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • 2+ years of sales experience preferred.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Experience in water/wastewater, PVF, or a similar industry required.
  • Experience reading blueprints and construction specifications preferred.
  • Proficiency with keyboarding, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and stay organized.
  • Team-oriented and comfortable working in a close-knit environment.
  • Ability to work fully onsite at our Jordan, MN office.
