This facility is a level three trauma center providing inpatient diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology services across multiple imaging modalities. The facility utilizes Philips imaging equipment and Power Scribe 360 dictation software to support accurate and timely imaging interpretation. The facility maintains a trajectory of growth and is expanding its clinical capabilities and service offerings.

Mississippi offers a range of experiences suited to varied interests, including musical heritage destinations such as the Delta Blues Museum and the B.B. King Museum, as well as outdoor pursuits including kayaking, hiking, and fishing across diverse landscapes. Clinicians on assignment may also engage with the state's history through sites such as Vicksburg National Military Park and the Natchez Trace Parkway, while the Gulf Islands National Seashore and coastal areas provide nature-focused activities. Additional attractions include the Mississippi Aquarium, the Grammy Museum, casino entertainment, and a range of dining and cultural destinations available throughout the state.

The clinician will provide on-site inpatient diagnostic imaging interpretation and interventional radiology services during day shift hours, Monday through Friday. Primary responsibilities include performing approximately 5 IR procedures per day, ranging from light to heavy interventional cases, including paracentesis, thoracentesis, guided biopsies, and barium swallows, with diagnostic reading conducted between procedures. Covered modalities include CT, ultrasound, plain film, MRI, and nuclear medicine, with dictation completed via Power Scribe 360 in accordance with established facility protocols.
