Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2570 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to manage all cardiac drips. Able to operate EKG machine.

Special Requests: Block schedules are accommodated whenever possible based on unit needs and are never guaranteed. Up to 5 days of requested time off in each 13-week assignment can be automatically approved; anything more is subject to approval by the leader prior to confirming the candidate, and the time must be made up at the end of the assignment.

Unit Details: Patient population includes all age groups. The unit focuses on the care of post-surgical patients with an emphasis on orthopedic procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 48 or 36 per week at the candidate’s request. Every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) is required unless otherwise approved by the leader prior to confirmation. No call. Candidates should expect to work at least one of the major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s Day). Night shift orients on day shift, and the traveler must be available the entire week for orientation.

Floating Requirements: Must be able to float throughout Med Surg as needed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
