Fleet Operations Forecaster

Our client, a leading organization in the autonomous transportation industry, is seeking a Fleet Operations Forecaster to join their team. As a Fleet Operations Forecaster, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fleet Operations Forecaster

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $68/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Develop analytical models to translate operational demand forecasts into resource and staffing requirements.
• Analyze operational and workforce datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Create dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key operational metrics and performance indicators.
• Extract, clean, and transform large datasets using SQL, Python, and other tools to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Support capacity planning and operational decision-making through targeted analyses and modeling.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, operations analytics, or similar analytical roles.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience using Python and Pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience building dashboards with visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Databricks.
