Full job description

Our client, a warehouse and logistics operation is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations team supporting daily material movement and shipment accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, reliable attendance, and the drive to keep work organized and efficient—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Orange, TX

Pay Range: $17.00 Weekly pay

Shift: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (training). After training, Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. After training, rotating 12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

What's the Job?

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
  • Move products throughout the warehouse and place materials in designated storage locations.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report maintenance issues.

What's Needed?

  • Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate sit-down forklifts.
  • Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and reliable attendance and punctuality.
