Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Technician, where you will play a vital role in producing mission critical components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement. As a key contributor, you will support various manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to industry standards. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional products to our customers.
Duties
- Operate band saw and other machinery with precision, following established procedures and safety protocols. We will train the right person to inspect, set-up and measure parts.
- Provide technical and organizational support to ensure effective communication between employees, management team and customers through various tasks supporting the ERP system.
- Assist with materials handling, including loading, unloading, and organizing raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production area.
- Support packaging operations by preparing products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote a safe and efficient environment.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and processes to identify issues early and support maintenance activities.
- Utilize forklift equipment safely for moving materials within the facility when certified and trained.
Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments is preferred, but will train the right candidate.
- Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
- Certification in forklift operation is highly desirable; candidates must be willing to obtain certification if not already certified.
