Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - 2070 per week.

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Telemetry rhythm capabilities. - Able to assess med surg level patients and alert Charge RN / Manager / Rapid Response / Provider when acuity level changes.

Unit Details: - Adult Med Surg/Telemetry unit. - Patient ratios: dayshift 1:4-6; nightshift 1:5-7. - Typical procedures include IV fluids, tube feeds, PEG feedings, and IV antibiotics.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts a pay period.

Floating Requirements: - Float to other Med Surg units and occasionally to the holding pod of the ED.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
