  • Mon - Thu: 12-hour overnight shifts, 7 pm - 7 am
  • Fri - Sun: 24-hour shifts, 7 am - 7 am
  • Avg 10 patients per 24-hour call period
  • Approx 1,600 deliveries per year -- low and high risk
  • Skills req: amniocentesis, c-section, VBAC, forceps delivery
  • Surgical gynecology required -- open procedures
  • Office gynecology req: IUD, colposcopy, LEEP, cryosurgery
  • Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
