Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Support Specialist to support our Production and Planning Teams. This temporary role is ideal for someone with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, excellent critical thinking skills, and a proactive attitude. The successful candidate will play a key role in streamlining administrative processes, supporting operational initiatives, and contributing to a dynamic team environment.
This is a temporary position funded through April 2027, with potential extension through December 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Operations Team, including data entry, document preparation, and scheduling.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, presentations, and reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Assist with tracking and organizing operational metrics and project documentation.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative or operations support role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in a manufacturing or multi-site operations environment.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
Individual must be a:
- Citizen of the United States, or
- Permanent resident alien of the United States, or
- Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15
