Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury - Onsite in Beverly Hills, CA

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our plaintiff personal injury practice and become an integral part of our litigation team.

This is not a role limited to filing documents and managing calendars. You will work directly with litigation attorneys and take ownership of the day-to-day progression of your cases. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, confident managing deadlines, and capable of anticipating what attorneys and clients need before being asked.

You will have the opportunity to work across the full litigation lifecycle—from complaint through trial—while contributing directly to case strategy, discovery, medical analysis, deposition preparation, motion practice, expert coordination, and trial preparation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage litigation from start to finish: Take an active role in plaintiff personal injury cases from complaint through resolution and trial, keeping cases organized, progressing, and on schedule.
Own discovery: Prepare, propound, organize, and manage interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and related discovery responses while ensuring deadlines and obligations are met.
Analyze medical records: Obtain and organize medical records, bills, and treatment documentation; review the information carefully and prepare clear summaries that help attorneys understand treatment, causation, and damages.
Support depositions: Prepare deposition materials, summarize transcripts, organize exhibits, and assist attorneys with deposition preparation and strategy.
Assist with motions and legal research: Draft and support motions, oppositions, briefs, and related filings and conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or comparable research platforms.
Prepare for trial: Assist with trial binders, exhibits, witness materials, trial notebooks, and other trial preparation needs, including providing hands-on support when cases go to trial.
Maintain exceptional case organization: Keep physical and electronic files accurate, complete, and easy for the litigation team to access.
Handle court filings: Prepare and coordinate electronic and physical filings while ensuring compliance with California and Los Angeles Superior Court rules, procedures, and deadlines.
Coordinate experts: Work with medical, accident reconstruction, economic, and other experts to coordinate communications, scheduling, records, and supporting materials.
Support client communication: Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, gather information, provide appropriate updates, and help ensure clients feel informed throughout their cases.
Manage critical deadlines: Work closely with the calendaring team to track statutes of limitations, discovery deadlines, motion deadlines, hearings, trial dates, and other critical litigation milestones.
Anticipate needs: Identify potential issues before they become problems and proactively bring solutions to attorneys rather than waiting for direction.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
3–5+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation paralegal experience, with a strong understanding of the practice area.
Experience managing cases through multiple or all stages of litigation, from complaint through trial.
Strong hands-on experience with written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and responses.
Demonstrated ability to review, analyze, and summarize medical records, bills, and treatment histories.
Experience supporting motion practice, legal research, and brief preparation.
Meaningful trial preparation and trial support experience.
Experience with Los Angeles Superior Court e-filing and procedures, including familiarity with applicable local rules.
Proficiency with Filevine or comparable case management software.
Working knowledge of Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar legal research platforms.
Exceptional organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage a substantial caseload and competing priorities without losing accuracy or missing deadlines.
Spanish/English bilingual skills are strongly preferred.

NICE TO HAVE
Paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA-approved program.
Experience with catastrophic injury, wrongful death, or complex personal injury matters.
Familiarity with Medicare, Medi-Cal, liens, and subrogation issues.
Experience working directly with attorneys in a high-volume plaintiff personal injury practice.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and personal injury treatment.
THE RIGHT FIT

You are someone who takes ownership. You don't wait for someone to tell you what needs to happen next—you stay ahead of your cases and your attorneys.

You are comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment where deadlines matter, details matter, and the quality of your work has a direct impact on clients.

You take pride in being exceptionally organized, communicate proactively, and know how to balance urgency with accuracy. Most importantly, you understand that behind every case is a person who is relying on the team to advocate for them.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$35–$50 per hour, depending on experience, plus annual performance-based bonuses.

Additional benefits include:
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
Generous PTO
Paid holidays
Professional development and ongoing training
Free parking
Opportunity for continued growth and advancement
