Full job description
Our client is seeking a Dock Worker to join their team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Dock Worker, you’ll help keep daily pickup operations moving smoothly by gathering used cardboard and filling Gaylords for trucks to pick up. If you like hands-on work, take pride in doing things the right way, and enjoy being part of a team that keeps logistics running, this role is a great fit.
Job Title: Dock Worker
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Pay Range: $20/hr
Shift: 12 pm to 6 pm Sunday thru Thursday
What's the Job?
- Gather used cardboard as part of daily dock and pickup preparation.
- Fill Gaylords accurately and efficiently so trucks can load and depart on schedule.
- Support smooth dock operations by keeping materials organized and ready for pickup.
- Follow site procedures to maintain a safe, orderly work area.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily logistics needs.
What's Needed?
- Comfort with physical, hands-on work in a warehouse/dock environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with attention to detail.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic to support scheduled truck pickups.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and communicate as needed.
- Basic understanding of safe handling practices in a busy loading area.
