Our client, a healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join their team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be part of the Respiratory Care Department supporting a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Cookville, TN

Pay Range: $38.00

Shift: 7:00-7:00 Days & Nights available

What's the Job?

  • Provide professional respiratory care through assessment, clinical judgment, treatment, and instruction to diverse patient populations.
  • Perform cardiac and diagnostic procedures to support quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in training and supervising new staff or students as needed.

What's Needed?

  • Associates degree or higher in respiratory therapy or related field.
  • Current national credential for Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the NBRC.
  • Valid Tennessee Respiratory Therapist license or Certified Respiratory Therapist license.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
  • Hospital experience with medical/surgical, pediatric, neonatal, and critical care patients preferred.
