Certified Lifeguard

The YMCA is seeking a Certified Lifeguard to ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive aquatic environment for members of all ages. In this role, you will maintain vigilant surveillance of pools, enforce safety rules, and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies using trained rescue, CPR, and first aid skills. Lifeguards support swim lessons and aquatic programs, complete regular safety drills, and help maintain clean, hazard-free facilities. You will model the YMCA’s mission-driven values, delivering friendly, respectful service while promoting healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility in the community.
