Mechanic

GFL Environmental is seeking a 2nd-Shift Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of waste collection trucks and heavy equipment. In this role, you will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems to keep vehicles safe and compliant. You will respond to breakdowns, complete work orders in our maintenance system, and follow strict safety and environmental standards. Working in a fast-paced, team-focused shop, you’ll support essential environmental services while gaining training and growth opportunities in a stable, mission-driven company.
