A well-established skilled nursing and rehabilitation center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our leadership team. We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and motivated RN who is committed to delivering exceptional resident care while supporting and mentoring clinical staff.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and supervision for an assigned nursing unit.
Assist in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures.
Mentor and support nursing staff through clinical guidance and professional development.
Maintain high standards of resident care and regulatory compliance.
Review resident records to ensure quality and accuracy of documentation.
Monitor resident care and evaluate individual cases to promote positive outcomes.
Address resident and family questions or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and nursing leadership to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications
Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 3 years of long-term care experience preferred.
At least 2 years of Charge Nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong computer and documentation skills.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
