Technical Service Representative I

Our client, a leading industrial machinery manufacturer, is seeking a Technical Service Representative to join their team. As a Technical Service Representative , you will be part of the Technical Service Department supporting customers, distributors, and internal service teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Must live in the Cincinnati, OH area
Pay Range: Target $30/hour - Competitive; based on experience
What’s the Job?

• Provide technical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance support for industrial machinery via phone and remote assistance.
• Analyze machine performance issues and guide customers, distributors, and service personnel toward effective resolutions.
• Review and distribute engineering information and technical documentation to service and parts teams.
• Develop and maintain installation, start-up, and service instructions for machinery and equipment.
• Document installation, warranty, and service-related issues while maintaining accurate records in company databases.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, field service, or a related engineering field.
• High School 2-year technical degree OR Comparable military experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and high- and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to travel as needed, and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
