Manufacturing Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in plastic and packaging production, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join their team. As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the extrusion and reprocessing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Operator

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay Range: $20 - $25

Shift:
1st - 7AM - 3PM
2nd - 3PM - 11PM
3rd - 11PM - 7AM

What's the Job?

• Safely operate extrusion or reprocessing equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings, including extruder speeds, temperatures, pressures, and winder speeds to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Produce orders according to production schedules and customer requirements.
• Perform product labeling, production reporting, and data entry accurately and timely.
• Complete required quality inspections, testing, and documentation.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or industrial experience required.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
