About the Role The Medical‑Surgical RN provides direct patient care using the nursing process while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include care coordination, patient safety, documentation, and the delivery of compassionate care aligned with Mercy’s mission and values.

This role offers a strong clinical foundation for nurses who enjoy variety, teamwork, and continued professional development.

Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)

Active

Registered Nurse (RN)

license in

Missouri

or compact state

Basic Life Support (BLS)

certification through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Prior hospital or acute‑care nursing experience

Specialty certifications

New graduate nurses are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements Ability to lift and assist up to
