Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is seeking a Director to serve as the subject matter expert for card portfolio optimization across the Latin America and Caribbean region. This role will lead the development, governance, and scaling of portfolio optimization capabilities by defining standards, shaping data- and AI-enabled solutions, enabling regional collaboration, and supporting adoption across markets.
The Director will work closely with regional and market teams, Visa cross-functional partners, and VCA leadership to connect Visa capabilities, VCA services, industry knowledge, and client needs into practical, scalable solutions. The role also includes responsibility for strategic initiative governance, change management, communications, training, and agile facilitation to ensure successful execution and adoption.
The successful candidate will bring strong experience in payments, card portfolio management, analytics, consulting, project management, and business transformation, with the ability to combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a lean team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a credit and debit card portfolio management consulting subject matter expert, advising clients and internal teams on portfolio growth, lifecycle management—including acquisition, activation, usage, cross-sell, loyalty, retention, and attrition management—performance improvement, and client impact opportunities.
Define and maintain portfolio optimization consulting standards, including methodologies, business rules, recommendation frameworks, delivery guidelines, diagnostic approaches, and reusable advisory assets.
Shape data-, analytics-, and AI-enabled advisory capabilities by defining, assessing, and approving business requirements, use cases, outputs, insights, and implementation considerations.
Build scalable consulting frameworks, playbooks, templates, and training materials to standardize card portfolio optimization delivery across markets.
Partner with regional and market teams to promote collaboration, share best practices, capture lessons learned, and scale proven approaches.
Support Visa and VCA strategic priorities by connecting VCA advisory services, Visa capabilities, industry expertise, and client needs into actionable recommendations.
Govern strategic consulting initiatives by managing priorities, tracking progress, identifying risks and dependencies, and maintaining clear documentation, action plans, and executive-ready status materials.
Drive change management and adoption efforts, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and practical use of AI tools and analytical capabilities.
Facilitate agile ways of working for AI squads or cross-functional workstreams, supporting routines, coordination, issue resolution, and progress tracking.
Lead, coach, and develop direct reports while remaining hands-on in execution, directly driving key consulting workstreams, deliverables, analysis, materials, and stakeholder coordination due to the lean team structure.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
