Compensation

$75,000 to $85,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.

What You'll Do

The Tax and Advisory Associate will assist in preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. This includes conducting research on tax issues and regulations to support consulting and advisory work for clients. The associate will collaborate with senior team members to identify and help implement tax saving strategies, and will take part in client meetings, communicating findings and recommendations clearly. The role also includes supporting the training and development of junior staff through mentorship and day to day guidance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Active CPA license
• At least 2 years of experience in tax preparation and advisory services
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in tax software and MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in public accounting or a professional services firm
• Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting
• Experience preparing returns for multiple entity types (individual, corporate, partnership, and trust)
• Prior experience mentoring or training junior staff
