Critical Care physician employment in Virginia : Some locum assignments can be as short as a day, others, years. Some are far from home, others are local. - Shifts: 7 am - 7 pm with potential for on-call overnight
- Inpatient acute care hospital setting
- Patient mix -- mostly cardiac and medical critical care
- Night APP on-site for overnight support
- Procedures required -- intubation, central lines, chest tubes
- Ventilator management and hemodynamic instability experience required
- Management of multi-organ dysfunction required
- 50+ critical care inpatient encounters required in past 12 months
- We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
