Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality, patient-centered diagnostic ultrasound services across our Georgia facilities. In this role, you will perform advanced sonographic exams, oversee day-to-day workflow, and serve as a clinical resource for technologists. You’ll collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, support protocol standardization, and champion safety, quality, and patient comfort. The Lead Sonographer also mentors staff, supports training and continuing education, and helps drive continuous improvement in imaging outcomes and patient experience.
