Registered Nurse Heart Lung ECHO

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse – Heart Lung ECHO to provide specialized cardiovascular and pulmonary care for patients undergoing echocardiography and related procedures. The RN will perform focused assessments, monitor hemodynamic and respiratory status, administer medications, and coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic interventions with cardiologists and respiratory specialists. Responsibilities include patient education, pre- and post-procedure care, documentation in the EMR, and strict adherence to safety and infection control standards. The nurse will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, support quality improvement initiatives, and mentor staff while promoting a patient-first, compassionate care environment.
