Mechanic Service Tech

What You'll Be Doing
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain crushers, screens, conveyors, and related aggregate processing equipment
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component change-outs to maximize equipment uptime
Execute fabrication, installation, and mechanical repairs on plant and field equipment
Partner with operations, engineering, and vendors to complete maintenance and improvement projects safely and on time
Promote and model a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with MSHA and company standards
What Are We Looking For
- Proven welding and fabrication experience, including cutting, fitting, welding, and repairing heavy equipment and structural components.
Strong capability in diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems, including crushers and material handling equipment
Proficiency with welding, cutting, and use of hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools
Ability to interpret manuals, schematics, and technical drawings to complete work effectively
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate, train others, and build working relationships
Flexibility to travel, work varied hours, and adapt to changing operational needs in field environments
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
