Experienced Maintenance Mechanic Wanted
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing a variety of industrial manufacturing equipment.
5 years of experience preferred.
Our facility operates engine lathes, CNC spinning lathes, hydroforming equipment, and other specialized machinery. We are looking for a hands-on professional with strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities and a working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
Position Responsibilities
· Mechanical, troubleshoot bearings, belts, gearboxes, motors, alignment, lubrication, etc.
· Electrical troubleshooting: motors, controls, sensors, relays, contactors, wiring, and reading schematics.
· Hydraulics — pumps, valves, cylinders, pressure issues, leaks, and troubleshooting.
· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize production downtime.
· Maintain and repair CNC machinery and associated equipment.
· Assist with the installation, assembly, setup, and startup of new machinery.
· Understand technical manuals, schematics, drawings, diagnostic equipment, and other resources to identify and resolve equipment problems.
· Knowledge in using standard and specialized mechanic hand tools.
· Work closely with production and engineering personnel to identify recurring equipment issues and improve machine reliability.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts used.
· Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Be available for overtime, including weekends, when required to meet production needs.
Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment.
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
· Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and electrical troubleshooting.
· Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems.
· CNC maintenance and troubleshooting experience preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, technical manuals, and other documentation.
· Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Dependable, self-motivated, and safety conscious.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Must have your own standard set of mechanic hand tools.
· Reliable transportation to and from work required.
· U.S. Citizenship required at the time of hire.
