Full job description

Our client, a leading organization in facility management services, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and ensuring safe, functional environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Tech

Location: Richmond, VA

Pay Range: $23-25/hr

Shift: Mon-Fri, 7AM - 3:30PM. Occasional Saturdays

What's the Job?

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the facility.
  • Conduct safety checks, including fire extinguisher inspections and hazard assessments.
  • Assist with interior maintenance tasks such as patching walls, painting, and repairing office furniture.
  • Support HVAC system upkeep by cleaning coils, changing filters, and supporting repairs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed using CMMS systems like 360 Facility.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • Valid state driver's license in good standing.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform climbing, bending, and kneeling tasks.
  • Proficiency with work order management systems such as CMMS platforms.
  • Completion of all scheduled safety trainings and required licenses.
