Full job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Extrusion Machine Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, machine operation experience and a proactive approach to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization. Forklift experience required.

Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay Range: $23.00 + shift differentials on 2nd and 3rd

Shift: 1st shift 7:00am to 3:00pm / 2nd shit 3:00pm to 11:00pm / 3rd shift 11:00pm to 7:00am

What's the Job?

  • Safely operate extrusion and reprocessing equipment following company policies and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings such as extruder speeds, temperatures, pressures, and winder speeds to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • Produce orders according to production schedules and customer specifications.
  • Perform product labeling, accurate production reporting, and data entry.
  • Complete quality inspections, testing, and documentation to maintain high standards.
  • Operate Forklift as needed

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of solid Machine Operation experience required
  • Prior Forklift experience
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Steel Toe Shoes/Boots required.
